I adore liquorice, especially Pontefract Cakes, but haven't had any for years after being disappointed with what was available. But I took a risk on these, and I have to say, they were just divine. The best ever. I shall be ordering again, for sure. Once I started I couldn't stop eating them, fantastic.

Probably the best things to come out of Yorkshire (apologies to the top sportsmen and women, yes, even you Jessica!) They are soft and chewy and always on my list of favourites. Please keep supplying them and keep Pontefract special, for the sake of all those athletes from the White Rose county. P.s. Pontefract Cakes are just about the most well known of all liquorice products without being so easily bought. Whenever we go out for groceries we have a look and find some shops have never heard of them, thankfully you are the kings of pleasurable delights and can supply these delicious finger sweets with the taste I remember.
