The Pontefract Cakes are great, but the box in which they were delivered was battered and torn, happily none were lost, but it was a near-run thing. They are very good but deserve much better packaging!

Once you open the bag you are in trouble, the sweet liquorice smell hits you straight in the nose but be warned closing it is not so easy. Delicious as always.

Super Pontefract cakes. I’m purchasing them on a regular basis. Our liquorice jar is very popular with our sons when they visit. They walk in and go straight to the jar so we have to keep it full. And all three are nearing middle age!!!
